House. C15 altered and extended C16 to early C19, clad C18. Timber framed and rendered with applied frame to right and clad elsewhere with red brick and some flint. Extended with red brick to left. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys on flint plinth with end jetty to right. Portions of flintwork on ground floor to centre left. Hipped roof with stacks to left and clustered to centre right. One wooden casement to left and 2 glazing bar sashes on each floor and board door to centre right in single storey porch with shaped gable. One storey and attic hipped extension to left with C20 gabled dormer and 1 wooden casement and boarded door.

House. C17 or earlier, extended and altered early C19. Timber framed and weather boarded, the extension rendered and roughcast. Thatched roofs. The original building a 2 cell lobby entry plan. Two storeys and hipped roof with central stack. One wooden casement on first floor to left and 2 horizontally sliding glazing bar sashes on ground floor and central boarded door with gabled hood. Tall 1 storey and garret wing added to right (to face road front) the gable end projecting at right with pierced bargeboard supported by carved brackets and half hipped roof with stack at rear. One glazing bar sash on each floor with four centred arched head and label hood. Two oriel windows on first floor to left, both with four centred arched heads and canted bay to left an ground floor with Gothick tracery. Central glazed door with Gothick tracery in flat roofed porch. Projecting single storey

gabled extension to right with slate roof with pierced bargeboard on carved brackets and single glazing bar sash with four centred arched head and label

hood. The Cottage Ornee details are exactly similar to the Lodge to Fredville Park at Holt Street (item 3/139) and presumably indicate a connection here with the estate.

Two storeys with hipped roof and central triple stack with projecting central
2 storey bargeboarded porch. Regular fenestration of 3 metal casements on
first floor and 2 on ground floor all with moulded label hoods except the
central window with blind hood. Central boarded door in four centred arched
surround with label hood. The side windows of the central porch retain their
original latticed metal casements. Small blank shield in head of gable.
